Newly Enhanced Safety/Security Features

This State of the Art Center now boasts several upgrades and security/safety procedures that few Preschools offer including:

  • A sealed floor throughout the entire Center that is cleaned using sanitizer daily, which will prevent the spread of sickness.
  • 16 security cameras with night vision offer 24/7 surveillance of the campus, both indoors and out, with a closed circuit monitor in the Director’s office. This helps us ensure your child’s safety both in the classrooms and outdoors.
  • Motion detectors on the playground. This alarm will alert the front desk when anyone who should not be on the playground is present.
  • Lockout pad on the front door. Each parent is provided a specific PIN that allows entrance to the facility during normal hours. However, during lockdown emergencies a code is used that restricts access to anyone other than first responders. The children and staff will be totally locked down until the emergency is over.
  • Each outside door has automatic closers and locks. No one can open an outside door without a key or PIN. Our center is completely secure at all times.
  • The Center also has fire alarm pulls in each room and fire retardant drywall. Emergency Exit lights with battery backup are above each exit door in the entire building.
  • A full commercial kitchen with a range hood which has its own fire suppression system. The kitchen is separated from the main area by an enforced steel door.
  • A fully monitored burglar alarm system that includes motion detectors and door sensors. We can monitor who is entering and exiting our building at all times.
  • Outside exits from most classroom to a safe area used for emergency evacuation
  • A six foot high fence surrounds playgrounds on all sides of the campus
  • Fall zones that have plastic barriers are filled with wood chips for child safety on the playground equipment.
  • Viewing windows for parents/management to view classroom activities. This allows you to check in on your child without disrupting their routine. We have an open door policy and invite you to stop by our school at any time
  • Telephones are located in each classroom. These phones are used for internal communication within the building to reach management. They also allow outside phone calls such as when a parent wants to call and check on a child. The phones are also programmed so they cannot call out of the building unless it is a 911 call.
  • The Center has monthly fire drills and quarterly emergency drills. Each classroom has an emergency evacuation plan posted for teachers that provide the route to use in case of an emergency
  • For children riding in our vans, a sheet on each child with a photo and emergency contact is provided to the driver. Attendance is taken as children are entering and exiting the van. Fire extinguishers are also installed in each van and the driver files a report after each use that details any issues with the van.
  • We accommodate all allergies and we are a peanut free facility.
